Imane “Pokimane” Anys is a Moroccan-Canadian streamer, content creator, and influencer, best known for her streaming on Twitch and YouTube. Since joining Twitch, Imane has become one of the most-followed streamers on the platform.

She first burst on to the scene in 2017 when she decided to pursue a career in content creation and left University. Within her first year of streaming Twitch content, she amassed 450,000 followers. In 2018, Anys partnered with Twitch and was selected as one of the 15 ambassadors for their Twitchcon event. It was after there where she partnered with Twitch Creator Champ which was a series of videos designed to help content creators build their brand and channels successfully.

Anys exploded in popularity in 2019 gaining 5 million followers on both Twitch & Youtube platforms after bringing home the Best Twitch Streamer of the Year at the 10^th Annual Shortly Awards. As of March 2021, she has no eclipsed over 7 Million followers on her Twitch channel and continues to grow.
